Thor 2 Director Quits
Director Patty Jenkins (Monster, The Killing) has left the Thor sequel due to “creative differences,” but reportedly remains on good terms with the studio. According to Deadline she is likely to direct another one of Marvel’s superhero films. The hunt is on for a replacement director to keep the film on track for its July 26, 2013 opening date.
Thor was directed by Kenneth Branagh and earned over $448 million at the worldwide box office.
